Chat live with Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland

AFC East Champions

The Miami Dolphins once again show why they are the leaders in fan appreciation. The Miami Dolphins continually find new ways to show their appreciation to us, the fans.

With less than a month remaining until the NFL Draft, Dol-Fans will have the unique opportunity to participate in a live video chat with Dolphins General Manager Jeff Ireland.

The chat will take place on Friday, April 3, at 10:45 a.m. (ET), exclusively on the team's official web site, MiamiDolphins.com.

Fans can begin submitting their questions now by going to http://www.MiamiDolphins.com/AskJeffIreland

Ireland's chat session marks the second in a series of video chats that the team has planned over the coming weeks. The first chat gave fans the opportunity to ask questions of the team's radio play-by-play announcer Jimmy Cefalo on March 25.

Shed Dawgs on the Jumbo Tron

Three of the Shed Dawgs are back from Miami after attending Web Weekend 2008. After getting the royal treatment from the Miami Dolphins club, the Dawgs enjoyed a thrilling victory over the Seattle Seahawks.

One of the many highlights for the Dawgs was appearing several times on the largest HDTV in North America.......the Dolphin Stadium Jumbo Tron!! The Dawgs had the luxary of sitting on the field in the endzone less than 10 feet from the actual field.

The Dawgs would like to thank Scott and Michelle Stone, Rodney Wood, Tom Valente and countless others, including Coach Tony Sparano, GM Jeff Ireland, President Bryan Weidmeier, and former player Keith Simms for giving up their time to talk with a bunch of fan websites.

Thanks to former DL/LB and Probowler Kim Bokamper for hosting the Web Weekend group at his new sports bar Bokampers' and for inviting Shed Dawg Mike to join him on his weekly show Dolphins Tonight on WQAM in Miami.

And finally last and definitely not least....a huge shout out and thanks go to former Dolphins Pro Bowl LB John Offerdahl for Crankin' it up a Notch for not only taking time out of his busy schedule to meet with the Dawgs but also for buying the Dawgs dinner at one of his Offerdahl's Cafe Grill locations....and then eating half of Shed Dawg Mike's burger!

More on the Web Weekend '08 to come in the following weeks.

Future of the Shed Dawgs looks bright

Brett Henley

The future of the Shed Dawgs looks bright with some up and coming young Dawgs.

Brett Henley, nephew of Shed Dawg Mike, spent the last week soaking up everything in the shed and is looking forward to the day where he can become a full time member of the Shed Dawgs.

Brett refused to where an Oakland Faiders shirt to school last week declaring that "Shed Dawgs would never where that crap"! Of course where paraphrasing there, but you get the point. Brett has learned that the Shed Dawgs motto is to always Crank it up a Notch!!! Oh yeah, and what goes on in the shed....stays in the shed.

RIP to Tom "T-Rock" Eddie

Tom "T-Rock" Eddie with Shed Dawgs Mike, Sean and Barry

Tom "T-Rock" Eddie passed away recently after battling cancer for the past year. Tom was a friend of the Shed Dawgs and was a passionate Dolphins fan. Tom was a big part of the success of Phinfever.com as well as his own site miamidolphinsonline.com.

Tom will be missed at the Web Weekend this year, but he will not be forgotten. Rest in Peace Tom.

Tailgating 2007 (Week 14)

Tailgating in the SnowThe weather turned ugly earlier than expected in Newfoundland last year and along with the Dolphins play, took its toll on the Dawgs tailgating fun.

The Dawgs were forced to adapt to the conditions and maybe go a little "old School" for the remainder of the dismal 2007 Season from Hell.

In the ShedThere aren’t a lot of proclamations in Mount Pearl that the majority of the city’s residents don’t hear about.

However, Mayor Steve Kent declared Dec. 18 as ‘Shed Dawgs Day,’ and encouraged all Shed Dawgs to continue to support the Miami Dolphins. [Full Story]
