ROOK’S RECAP 1.0 FINAL
SCORE: JERKS 20 DOLPHINS 14 James Hetfield and the clan from Metallica are back. This week marks the release of their newest record Death Magnetic and by all accounts and upon a few good listens, it seems as though Metallica are fun again. They rose in the 80’s and everyone loved em. The Black Album hit, people went crazy for em. Then they got real shitty from about the mid-90’s right up until around 2003. Then they released St. Anger and that record was terrible. An Ultimate low. But die-hard fans like myself waited and now we’ve been rewarded. The new record is real solid. Why am I writing about Metallica? Well because In a way Metallica are like the Dolphins. The Dolphins had some good years. Good enough to make us Superfans. And then they slowly started to suck right up until last year, when they became terrible. Last year’s season was our St.Anger. Terrible from start to finish. Some parts were so bad u just wanted to turn it off. But after watching week one I got a feeling the Dolphins are gonna be worth watching. The team has a youthful energy that I like. Devon Bess is runnin around all over the place, Ricky is back meaning I can wear my 34 again, and sheddawg Mike can put the kick-ass cardboard cut out back in Da Shed. We have a QB who is decent. He can move the chains. Miami might be fun again. And if they aren’t fun, who cares….TOM BRADY IS OUT FOR THE SEASON !!!!!!!!! Cheers to: Chad Pennington. A slow start but kept us in it until the end. Jeers to: Brett Favre and his miracle throws that somehow always end in TDs. Dawg-O-Meter: 5 Ally’s
